  11. I need help understanding what bitwise operators are and how they can
  12. be used.  I have Borland C++ v3.1 documentation, but on the subject of
  13. bitwise operators, it's indecipherable!  Could you e-mail me a good
  14. explanation and/or reference explaining these operator?  Thanks in
